Here at WA Guitar, I have a specific standard -and part of that standard is that leaving the workbench without a perfect setup simply isn't an option. There's no such thing as "No extra work needed", there's no such thing as "It could be better, but...", and there's certainly no such thing as an unsatisfied customer. Every guitar is treated differently from the last, and every working part of your guitar, regardless, is gone over piece by piece. If I'm not satisfied with the way your instrument plays -then I wouldn't expect you to be.

Who am I? My name is Ricky Dekker. I'm a photographer, musician, and freelance instrument luthier. I strive to support, and be a active contributing part of the Art community at all costs. I've been playing guitar for over 13 years, and have been doing instrument tech work for most of that time as well.

The goal of this website is to promote myself as a luthier,  inform you of the type of setup you'll be receiving, as well as locally raise awareness of the correct elements of  professional guitar work.

Located above, you'll see every section of this website is designed to be simple, informative, and as helpful as possible. I'm constantly updating the site, adding information, and making sure it's kept as understandable and up-to-date as possible.  (Last update: May 2017)
